How our Consignment Works
We Accept
- one group of clothing (up to 30 items) every 14 days, must be a minimum of 10
- nicer brands that are not out of style/date by 2 years
- clothes on plastic hangers, freshly cleaned and pressed
We DO NOT Accept
- any items that retailed for less than $5 or the following, but not limited to, brands:
- Walmart Brands (Faded Glory, Kid Connection, White Stag, etc), Target Brands (Circo, Sonoma, etc.), Oikey Dokey, Wonder Kids, Green Dog, Little Ones, BT Kids, Arizona (some items), Carters- select items
- Plain or Graphic T’s from Old Navy, Children’s Place, Carter’s, OshKosh and other lesser priced shirts.
- Toys, book, puzzles, furniture, etc.
- Clothing from plastic bags and/or that is extremely wrinkled
The Details
- Clothes are accepted anytime – NO Appointment needed
- Upon review of your items, you will receive an email of the items not accepted and the items accepted with the pricing
- Any items that were not accepted (and not approved for donation by consigner) are held in our returns area for 10 days for you to pick up, after that time they will be donated
- You will receive 50% of the price posted on your sales report
- Each group of clothing will be on a 60-day consignment period
- at the end of the 60 days
- you will no longer receive a portion of the sale
- you can come in and request a print out of the unsold items, find these items and take them home, or they will become the property of Kidz Closet, and may be donated at any time
- at the end of the 60 days
- as your items sell your portion of the sale will go into your account and continue to accumulate
- you can use this money
- as store credit at any time or
- after $20, you can request 1 check per month
- you can use this money
- checks will be ready for pick-up within 10-15 days
