How our Consignment Works

  1. We accept 1 group of clothing every 14 days. You MUST bring a minimum of 10 items and we will accept up to 30 items.
  2. We accept nicer name brands that are NOT out of style/date by more than 2 years.
  3. We do NOT accept any items that retailed for less than $5 or the following brands.
  4. Brands we are NOT accepting, are, but not limited to are: Walmart Brands (Faded Glory, Kid Connection, White Stag, etc), Target Brands (Circo, Sonoma, etc.), Oikey Dokey, Wonder Kids, Green Dog, Little Ones, BT Kids, Onesies (any brand), Plain or Graphic T’s from Old Navy, Limited, Justice and Children’s Place, Any items that show extreme wear or shrinkage or are out of style. Selected Arizona and Carters will be accepted.
    All clothing must be on plastic hangers, freshly cleaned, and pressed.
    We will NOT accept clothing from plastic bags and/or that is extremely wrinkled or has an odor.
  5. We are NOT accepting furniture, toys, or baby items other than clothing or shoes.
  6. You are welcome to bring your items in at any time, and we will review your items at that time.
  7. Within a few days we will inspect, price, tag and put your items out for sale. At this time you will receive an email of the items with the pricing. Any items that were not accepted upon further review will be held in our returns area for 10 days for you to pick up, after that time they will be donated. You will be notified of these items via your item list email.
  8. You will receive 40% of the price posted on your sales report.
  9. Each group of clothing will be on a 60 day consignment period.
  10. At the end of the 60 days you will no longer receive a portion of the sale.
  11. At the end of the 60 days you can come in and request a print out of the unsold items, find these items and take them home, or they will become the property of Kidz Closet, and may be donated at any time.
  12. As your items sell your portion of the sale will go into your account and continue to accumulate. You can use the amount as store credit at any time.
  13. You can request 1 check per month after you have $20 in your account, and your check will be ready for pick up with 10-14 days.
